Many people find it helpful to invest in a commercially-available ring sizer such as a multisizer (available at http://www.multisizers.com/) which is easy to use and inexpensive.

The "Rule of Three" for Accuracy

Check your ring size not once, not twice, but at least three times - this could save you a lot of hassle, time and money in the long run. Fingers can swell in warmer weather and shrink in cooler temperatures (and also at different times of the day), so check your size on several different occasions.

Your ring should just be able to go over the widest part of your finger and should fit snugly.

Key Considerations Before You Order

  • A wide band will need to be a bigger size than a thin band as there is more skin to go underneath it.
  • If in any doubt, visit a reputable jeweller and have your size professionally checked.

How to Measure for Your Bracelet

Finding Your Ideal Fit

It is entirely up to you how loosely you wish to wear your bracelet but we tend to recommend going for ‘comfort fit’.

Step-by-Step Wrist Measurement

  1. Rest your arm on a table and bring a piece of string or ribbon or a flexible tape measure around your wrist. Keep the tension comfortable and not too tight!
  2. Check the length (use a ruler to measure the string).

For comfort fit, simply add 2cms onto your wrist measurement. For a tighter or looser fit, adjust accordingly.

How to Find Your Bangle Size

The Hand Measurement Method

A common mistake is measuring the wrist for a bangle; however, the fit is actually determined by the width of your hand. To find your size, you need to measure your hand at its widest point.

How to Measure Your Hand

  1. Position your hand: Tuck your thumb into your palm toward your pinky finger (as if you are about to slide a bangle on).
  2. Measure the circumference: Wrap a piece of string or flexible tape measure around the widest part of your hand - usually across the knuckles and the base of the thumb.
  3. Check the length: Mark the string and measure it against a ruler in centimetres.

Choosing the Right Diameter

Compare your measurement to our Size Guide Chart below to find the corresponding internal diameter. If your measurement falls between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size to ensure the bangle can be worn comfortably.


Solid vs. Torque Bangles

  • Solid Bangles: Require the hand measurement above.
  • Torque/Open Bangles: Often slightly adjustable and can be measured closer to the wrist size.
